The Dinky

$5.95

Description

This is an excellent clock for collectors of railroad memorabilia. The “Dinky” was a narrow gauge train that chugged through the winding Big Green River Valley in Southwest Wisconsin. It travelled between the towns of Fennimore and Woodman from 1878 to 1925. It hauled fisherman to their favorite fishing hole, and farmers wishing to send goods to market set them by the tracks for the train’s crew to pick up. Children escaped the hottest summer days by riding the train down to the edge of the Wisconsin River to swim off the sandbars. This tribute to the famous Dinky is designed to be made from ¾” material. It measures 15″ wide x 4″ high x 3″ deep, and holds a 1-7/16” diameter clock insert.
